We're back!!!!!!!! We made the trip to Madison, WI for the 2009 World Dairy Expo - and have journeyed safely back to the farm and studio - YEAH! Another awesome show, another awesome year and good times shared with many old and new acquaintances. Rekindling friendships is a treasure that never gets old. Despite the recession and depressed milk prices - WDE carried on with the normal air of excitement that it always does. My entire family was able to be there this year, making it extra special. Our daughter Taylor exhibited 'Dottie', placing 9th of 18th in the Jersey Show, but captured 1st place Jr. Honors. Congratulations! Once again, Bonnie Mohr Studio displayed in both the Exhibition Hall and the Coliseum - thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit and purchase our artwork. A huge pat on the back to my GREAT staff who did a GREAT job, putting in log days, sore feet and all!! You guys are the best: Diane, Lana, Karen, Nancie, Keri, Tori, and my long time, tried and true pal, JAYNE - who has been with me at this show for 24 years now. And so...another year of WDE is complete... we packed up... Jacob gave me a victory spin and we headed for home! After all... there's no place like home. Thanks for reading...
