Cold, cold, and more cold... Sundogs decorate the sky, like a halo around the sun. Minnesota is back in the deep freeze. We are experiencing subzero temps and negative windchills once again. The roads are glazed with ice, and the schools even had a two hour late start again today. The good news - already, I can see the days are starting to get a little longer. There is still a glimpse of light at 6pm. There is a good feeling that comes along with knowing the daylight hours are growing - warmer temps are on their way too. I'm back to painting, John is still fighting the cold outside, and the kids are busy with all their 'things'. During these frigid days of January, there is an unspoken momentum of dressing to stay warm, and moving as nimble and quick as Jack during evening chores. Sounds like a good night for homemade soup. Stay tuned for new artwork on the way ~ !! Thanks for reading...
