Happy Mother's Day! I realize it is still 6 days away, but there are reasons I write this today. Number one, it might give some kids out there a 'head's up' that it is almost here. Number two, in case your kids are lazy or don't see the point of gift buying, it potentially gives your husband an opportunity to pick up the ball and run. Number three, as big a job as mom's really have - this is a holiday that should be celebrated for a week and not just one day : ) So here's to the each and every mom in the world who has -survived labor -embraced the terrific twos -tutored 12 years of school -picked up the pieces -driven the wheels off their mini-van -supported the activities and sports -washed the clothes -cooked the favorite meals -stayed up waiting -made the appointments -took the pictures -went to church -reasoned -preached -believed -forgave -hugged -and loved, loved, loved unconditionally Here's to you! Have a beautiful week, and a wonderful Mother's Day! "Most of all other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, but only one mother in the whole world." --Kate Douglas Wiggins This blog is dedicated to my wonderful mom and mother-in-law, two women who have mentored and impacted my life : ) Thank you! and thanks for reading.......
