Home again, home again - we have arrived safely back to our haven at Glencoe, MN from World Dairy Expo, Madison WI! This year's show proved, AGAIN, to be the biggest and the best. There was a special buzz in the air this year with the excitement of the new cow barns - WOW! The barns are beautiful, functional, spacious, and well ventilated! They added a new level of class to this already grand event - great job to World Dairy Expo! The Bonnie Mohr Studio team is also elated with the response and warm welcome we received with my new children's book ONCE THERE WERE NO COWS! The response and sales were beyond our expectations, and we are thrilled and thankful for everyone's interest and kind words. My hand is only slightly crippled from personalizing over 1000 books!! LOL Not to worry, I am off to the chiropractor this morning! It was a great week of seeing long time friends, meeting many new people and celebrating the world's best cows and cow people...thank you for a wonderful week!
Back home the harvest is in full swing. We are in a 10 day run of dry, 60's and there is a combine and tractor in every field going strong!! Yields will not be record by any stretch, but with the crazy weather we've had this year, we are happy to be getting something. To all of our farmer friends, please stay safe during this busy harvest!
This week in the studio - we clean, reorganize, and regroup from Expo and work on getting orders shipped! We will soon begin preparations for the November Open House. Click HERE for more information! Mark your calendars! I will take a week to get caught up on 'life' myself, and hope to be back painting very soon!
Enjoy these beautiful autumn days!
With love from Minnesota...thanks for reading,
