We have all seen this cat! It is the mysterious black farm cat that only shows up at feeding time in the barn, or the stray cat that streaks across your front yard. It is the cat with an attitude who loves to play games and seems to be in charge. There’s something about a black cat that catches your attention, and catches your breath. They are both beautiful and chilling at the same time! This fella is one of our barn cats and I painted him against a brilliant orange pumpkin, in front of the granary. The simple color pallet creates a striking composition with a bit of intrigue of just what is on this cat’s mind!
