Foster Mothers of the Human Race

Created for Hoard's Dairyman in 2011, this image celebrates the seven dairy breeds of North America. Known as the Foster Mothers of the human race, this kindly and beneficent creature has long been looked to as one of the chief sustaining forces of human life. The print features the dairy breeds of Jersey, Ayrshire, Milking Shorthorn, Red & White Holstein, Brown Swiss, Guernsey and Holstein.
