Welcome 2015!
Welcome 2015! It's the beginning again - another opportunity to begin all over, again! While it sounds refreshing and exhilarating to start a brand new year.... it can also be a daunting thought! There is a little part of all of us, I think, that charges into the New Year still exhausted from the last year. The lights still need to come off the house, a new GOALS LIST awaits us, (toss last year's - it was too long anyway), and let's not forget about the extra 10 holiday pounds now tucked into our pants! For some reason, the New Year felt big and overwhelming to me this year, a little daunting!
My solution.... plunge back into life, head first, and do the things you love, get back to routine - it has a secure, comforting feeling. It is like coming back home, after a trip away. For me that meant getting back to painting! And that is what I did.
I am now a week into a brand new painting that I have actually been thinking about for the past 2 years. It is a 'remake' of an earlier piece I did. Listening to my audience....customers told me they loved this particular painting....but.... (don't you love the 'but')! Stay posted - more details to come on this new 'do it again' creation....I think you are going to love it this time! Life at Bonnie Mohr Studio has resumed it's normal hum as well....the cleanup of Christmas is in full swing, the inventory is being restocked and we are excited about all the new things to come in 2015!
