Weekly Update
IN THE STUDIO... Final stages of clean-up/reorganization in the studio are slated for today and tomorrow, and painting by Friday! I'm still debating what I will be painting; however, it will be something new that will probably take you for surprise. I have numerous ideas, all 'staging' for a turn on the canvas!! I will see what kind of a mood I feel in when I awake that morning but for sure, you will be seeing some new elements in my paintings this year. Now being published is the new tourism guide titled - A Guide To Heartland Minnesota - which features my image of 'In the Valley' and covers the local towns of Dassel, Cokato, Hutchinson and Glencoe. We are delighted that this painting graces the cover. Thank you for this opportunity. Our 10am staff meeting this morning will be the beginning of early planning for our exhibits this year at the MN State Fair, and World Dairy Expo! With March 1st on our heals, it's already time to start getting acclimated for the many activities that will be coming along quickly!! We will also be nailing down some Open House dates for this year - check the website for these updates! REMINDER... do take advantage of our print offer good through March, buy any print and get the second one (of lower value) for half price! (Check the Website)
FAMILY MATTERS... The boys are getting ready for Regionals in Wrestling, Taylor for Sectionals in Gymnastics, and Amanda & Katelyn wrap up swimming this week and continue to be the 'right arms' for helping with barn chores. John is starting to think about spring planting, and I continue to keep the 'mother-ship' in tact and sailing in the right direction! I too look forward to the arrival of spring and the unfolding of new artworks in my studio shortly! Have a wonderful week... Thanks for reading!
