Recovering from WDE!

Happy Autumn everyone! Truly my favorite time of the year, and we are blessed with wonderful weather this week.....the combines are rolling, grain carts are parading up and down our gravel road, and the landscape is turning into the gold, umber, orange pallet that I always wait for each year! My brain and body feel weary this morning as I type this blog....we just got back from World Dairy Expo on Sunday evening!  This is always 'recovery week' for me in addition to sorting through a week and half of mail, and getting through a mountain of laundry that has accumulated in my absence.

Some of my helpers at WDE : Nancie, Me , Jayne, and Laura.

Expo was great as usual - how does a show of this magnitude get better each year?  The weather was super, the cattle were unbelievably beautiful, and even more commercial exhibitors made it a sensational event.  Personally, it was another milestone in my career as a 'cow artist'....this was my 30th Anniversary as an exhibitor.  I enjoy this week and love to see everyone whom I've grown to know over the years.  Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat or to purchase some new art or cards! It means the world to me.  I would also like to thank my staff for their hard work and dedication to help make this show possible for me, believe me, it takes a whole crew to get the job done! Also, thanks for the beautiful roses sent to my booth - so awesome, so thoughtful! A special thank you to my dear friend Jayne, who has been with me for all 30 years of World Dairy Expo. God has truly blessed me with your friendship Jayne - thank you for everything! The only person more dedicated to this show than me, is you!!  You're the best!
