The Studio is Bustling!
Last Monday, Bonnie Mohr Studio turned into a "movie set!" Dan Hoffman, host of KSMQ's "Farm Connections," a television series on PBS, interviewed Val Aarsvold of the Minnesota FFA Foundation, and Bonnie, about the work of FFA (Future Farmers of America) and the FFA piece, "We Live to Share." The segment also focused on Bonnie raising and being a part of a typical "farm family" in this day and age, and her role in contributing to the awareness of the necessity of productive agriculture. A few local FFA members were also present for the taping and were interviewed about their involvement in the FFA.
The day was filled with photographers capturing moments on the farm and the studio was staged with large cameras, all kinds of lighting and sound equipment and cords. There was even a make-up session before "lights, camera, action!" The segment is set to air in August - we will be sure to post a link for you at that time.
Aside from filming and painting, Bonnie is also training to be a part of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day, 60-mile event, in the fight to help end breast cancer! Bonnie and her good friend, Suzy Demeester, will be a part of the 60-mile "walk event" in Minneapolis this August! We are all excited at Bonnie Mohr Studio and we all support her in this worthy commitment - we will post a picture (soon) of her new "get up" as she joins this bold movement to help the world become breast cancer-free.
