We are now in the wonderful city of Madison WI - preparing for the big show! World Dairy Expo officially opens tomorrow, Oct. 4 and runs through Saturday Oct. 8th. Show hours are 9am-5pm daily. It's amazing to think we have traveled here for this show for 26 consecutive years. Show specials this year will be our famous "Buy 3 get the 4th One Free" for any print or giclee, and our just as famous card sale..."Buy any 4 Packages of Note or Christmas Cards and get the 5th One Free". Buy out my entire booth and take it all home in my trailer for free. LOL - kidding!
But if you are thinking about it - lets talk!! Back home, the weather continues to be kind. Harvest is getting into full swing with beans being combined and corn knocking at the door. Despite predictions of what could be an "average to poor" harvest, reports of "above average yields" are coming in...yeah! If you have time on your hands this evening, please say a prayer for a safe harvest for all farmers. Already there has been one tragic and fatal farm accident close to home. Our farmers feed the world, pray to keep them safe. NEW THIS WEEK - Check our facebook each day for our "Question of the day about World Dairy Expo".
