December Decorating!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..............fa, la, la, la, laaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! The decent of December is truly upon us - holiday music now plays everywhere you go, snow and ice cover all of Minnesota, and yes - the Christmas decorations are up! Following Thanksgiving day and hosting 30 at our house - I decided it would be a good idea to dig right into Christmas decorating, since I had a couple extra daughters home for the weekend ... and it is such a joyful task, you do want everyone to be included! (Please note the special leg kick - this is part of the act of throwing tinsel on the tree at the end!) By 8pm that night, we had the inside of the house pretty well licked, but then came Saturday, and the daunting mission of putting up lights on the outside of the house. Oh come now...you know what I'm talking about. Surely there will be a special place in heaven for those who get stuck get to put up those lights. Thankfully, once the lights are up, you quickly forget the trauma it took to get them there - and the enjoyment of the beautiful glow of your newly lit up home takes over ;)

Meanwhile, things are busy at Bonnie Mohr Studio as we gear up for our second Holiday Open House Event this Saturday! Come one, come all!! Lots of goodies, giftware and beautiful art await you - we will be serving the famous Becky Bakes cookies once again! I will also be doing free personalization of book purchases, ONCE THERE WERE NO COWS!
