Yes, our children are truly chips off the old blocks!! Each one of them have been hands on, preparing their animals for the recent Region 7 & and MN State Jr. Holstein Shows. All three girls have attended the MN Gopher Dairy Camp and have learned more about clipping and fitting their animals for the show season. All fared quite well on show day, but mostly had fun seeing their ‘cow friends’ from across the state of MN and having... Read More

Hi Everyone! This summer is proving to be a test….......of endurance, strength and energy! We are having lots of fun-filled busy days, and are enjoying all the usual summer activities that most families do. Between landscaping, cow shows, baseball games, driver’s training, gymnastics meets, going to the pool and making hay, there isn’t hardly time for painting! But my passion and love for it remains strong, and I manage a couple of... Read More

Victory! I not only made it to my studio last week, but I completed 3 new miniature originals. You are getting a ‘sneak peek’ at one of them today!!! Not sure what we will do with this piece, but be watching for it in some form of reproduction later this year. My schedule for this week is crazy, as usual, and I will have to work hard to weave some painting time into the whole scheme of things. This weeks lineup includes: Driver’s... Read More

Guide, and part owner of GenElite, LLC, Steve Berland chauffeured them, as they make rounds to over 20 elite genetic farms in the upper midwest on this trip. Thank you for... Read More

Last week sort of slipped through my fingers with the final week of school, and some extra social activities. About all that was accomplished in the studio was the very last tweaking on two older paintings. I’m determined to hit it hard this week and turn out something new for you to see by next weeks blog. Wish me luck!! Read More

Summer has officially arrived at the Mohr’s….......the kids are out of school now, the graduation parties have begun and we’ve already had several campfires in the back yard! I have the feeling of ‘hold on tight’ , the ride will be fast and furious with all the activities going on at our house this summer. Thankfully, we’ve been getting a few tenths of rain here and there, and I’d say it’s probably added up to almost an inch! At least... Read More

This past weekend, I put the finishing touches on my new painting which will be featured on the front cover of the Nov./Dec. issue of Minnesota Moments. Still needed: a title for this new piece, if you have any ideas, please forward them to me. I will be meeting with the editors of this magazine some time in the next week or two, but from what I understand, there will be some prints made and sold, and the artist gets to choose which...
