The Mohrs to be featured on PBS's "America's Heartland"
April 1st 2008, Glencoe MN.

Things were busy at Bonnie Mohr Studio today with special guests from PBS TV Station, Jason and Steve, for the filming of a segment that will air on “America’s Heartland”! We were blessed with beautiful sunshine, melting snow and lots of mud! Our guests arrived at 1pm and finished filming at 7pm this evening. We did a candid

interview in my studio and then filmed a section of me painting (on my new sheep piece!), signing prints in the studio, and out on a photo shoot of our Holstein cows. We later shot footage of supper around the table and a fun-filled evening of chores in the barn with the whole family. ( I know, this just sounds way too much like The Walton’s – no jokes please!!) What a fun day – the segment won’t air until August or September of this year, and we will be sure to keep you posted. Heartland Minnesota Guide

Just published in February is the new tourism guide for our area titled A Guide To Heartland Minnesota, which features my image of “In the Valley” and covers the local towns of Dassel, Cokato, Hutchinson and Glencoe.

We are delighted that this painting graces the cover. Thank you for this opportunity.

Minnesota Cows in California!
December 17th 2007, Tulare CA.

Just in, are pictures of “Best Agri-Marketing’s” new truck, of Tulare CA! This new truck will be a training vehicle used to promote herd health and management with dairy farmers and dairy related businesses in California. They contacted our studio a couple of months ago to see about using some of our ‘cow’ images on the sides of their truck, and… – wha-laa – it turned out beautiful and will be a fun

attraction on the highways of California. There are a lot of creative ways to use artwork to promote your business, decorate a truck, or touch up the inside of an office building wall with a mural. Please let us know if we can help assist you with a fun project idea like this!

This past weekend, I put the finishing touches on my new painting which will be featured on the front cover of the Nov./Dec. issue of Minnesota Moments. I will be meeting with the editors of this magazine some time in the next week or two, but from what I understand, there will be some prints made and sold, and the artist gets to choose which charity the dollars go to. What a great idea.
